Dorothy Stahlnecker receives 2014 Largest Sale award from NYSCAR®

MJ Peterson associate broker honored at February Awards Dinner

AMHERST, NY – Dorothy “Stahlnecker” Smith, associate real estate broker with MJ Peterson Real Estate, was awarded the 2014 Largest Broker-Assisted Sales Transaction by the WNY chapter of the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSCAR) earlier this month in Buffalo.

Stahlnecker, a Williamsville native, was directly responsible for the coordination and sale of an 875-unit group of multi-family properties, earning her this coveted award and industry recognition.

Victor L. (Pete) Peterson III, president of MJ Peterson, offered his congratulations to Stahlnecker, saying “Dorothy is a tremendous asset to our Commercial Division. She makes us all very proud.”

In addition to her illustrious real estate career, Stahlnecker is a Speaker Ambassador for Komen since 2010 and is herself a 4 time cancer survivor. She is an advocate of early detection and awareness of the disease.

The Meat Brawl RPAC fundraiser Tuesday night at the Artisan Culinary Loft was a fun and successful night for the Realtors and celebrity judges alike. Five Realtors competed for the coveted meat Brawl Trophy, with Sharon Ciminelli snaring the victory. Donna Littlefield’s meatballs won the People’s Choice award. Thanks to all the other chefs: John Gerace, James Wangelin, and @NYSAR_News President Joe Rivellino. The judges noted that every single meatball was delicious, not a bad ball in the bunch.   Thanks to all who attended, contributed, and supported this memorable event. A tip of the chef’s hat, too, to judges Don Postles from WIVB-TV, Chef Li Wang from WIND Restaurant, and broadcaster DJ Anthony. More great food for the guests was provided Ace and Kristen from Amici Ristorante. Cheers to all!
