Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors® Names Rosalind Burgin Realtor® of the Year
Amherst,
New York – On January 12, 2026, Rosalind Burgin, of Mootry Murphy & Burgin
Realty Group was named Realtor® of the Year of the Buffalo Niagara Association
of Realtors® (BNAR) Inaugural Event at the Pendleton Creek Golf Club and Pub.
The award acknowledges the outstanding contributions of a Realtor® who has
contributed to the real estate industry, the community and the BNAR.
The BNAR is a trade organization with more than 3,400
members whose mission is to assist members to become successful,
inclusive, and profitable and to promote professionalism, cooperation, fair
housing, and real property rights.
Burgin,
a Buffalo, NY resident, began her real estate career in 2008 and contributes
her success to her mentor, former manager and presidential advisor.
Burgin
has served on numerous BNAR committees and chaired the Chief Executive Officer
Review, Nominating, Bylaws, Government Affairs and Education Committees. Besides serving on many BNAR committees, she
served on the Board of Directors for four consecutive years as well as President
Elect in 2022 and BNAR’s President in 2023.
She
has been appointed to a few task forces for Western New York Real Estate
Information Services LLC, also known as the MLS and is currently serving as Vice
President.
Rosalind
served as a director for the National Association of Realtors® and is presently
a director for the New York State Association of Realtors®.
Outside
of her real estate business, she is involved in many activities, fundraisers
and initiatives, including fundraising for 8 Days of Hope, and holiday turkey
giveaways at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
