Washington, D.C., Hosted by

U.S. Congressman Nick Langworthy

The BNAR’s Government Affairs Director and V.P. of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Brenda Alesii, traveled to Washington, D.C. on October 23rd to attend a three-day session of meetings,  briefings, and tours of some of our nation’s most iconic centers of democracy. The “Fly In” was hosted by U.S. Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23). On the strength of NAR and the BNAR’s Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC)  support every year, Brenda was invited to attend this unique meeting. Some 20 people from the arenas of business, political advocacy, and the law, all high-level donors from Western New York also attended the Fly In.  Led by Congressman Langworthy, the group spoke with several members of Congress, including former Speakers of the House, other key leaders, and had private tours of the Supreme Court, National Archives, the U.S. Capitol, and the Library of Congress. This occurred as Congress was in the throes of electing a Speaker of the House, which finally occurred Wednesday afternoon. The BNAR supports elected officials and candidates in a bipartisan fashion who support realtor issues.
