 Forbes Capretto Homes puts finishing touches on Birdsong Estates showplace.

The formal dining room is truly distinctive. The walls and beadboard ceilings are painted in an earthy dark blue, with white crown molding providing an eye-catching contrast. The designers chose a farmhouse-style dining table in a rich wood that matches the color of the maple hardwood flooring. Then, they added a touch of contemporary cozy with club chairs in lieu of traditional dining chairs. A butler’s pantry with white cabinetry and backsplash connects the formal dining room to the kitchen.

Converse says the two-story, four-bedroom model incorporates many features that homebuyers are looking for in new homes. Hardwood flooring covers the main living area on the first floor. The den off the foyer has French doors, also allowing for sunlight while also making it easy to accommodate a dedicated home office.
