Qualified customers who build with Essex Homes can enjoy up to $15,000 off custom options as part of their new home or take advantage of a $15,000 incentive to “buy down” their mortgage rate. The announcement was made by Greg Nanula, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. 

“The name of this promotion is truly fitting – ’The Time Is Now’ speaks to the fact that almost everything these days is increasing in price and that’s certainly the case for home prices in the Buffalo, NY area. You’ll never pay less for a new home than right now so we wanted to start this year off with a special promotion that offers our customers significant savings and the freedom to choose custom options in their new Essex home. As a smart alternative, customers taking advantage of “The Time Is Now” promotion can choose to utilize the $15,000 incentive (or a portion of it) to significantly reduce their mortgage payments by means of a mortgage rate “buy down” option. For those unfamiliar with how a mortgage rate buy down works, Essex Homes would provide a $15,000 concession (essentially a credit) that their lender would take and apply to reduce the customer’s qualified mortgage rate. That could potentially equate to an entire point reduction (1%)! Given the current market environment, a rate buy down of $15,000 could save a customer nearly $200,000 over the course of their loan! If you couple that with other rate reducing loan options such as adjustable rate mortgages (ARM’s)  you could be off to the races with a drastically reduced mortgage rate in the low, 4% range. “We are always looking for ways to give our customers more choices and opportunities to achieve maximum savings,” says Nanula.
