Long Time Dedication to REALTOR Association Honored

The Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors®, Inc. (BNAR) presented a special award from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) to eleven members for forty years of service to the real estate industry earlier this month at the Buffalo Launch Club in Grand Island, NY.  Our honorees this year are Robert Vacanti-Northeastern Appraisal;  Peter F. Hunt-Hunt Real Estate ERA;  Mary Schemm-RealtyUSA WNY, Inc.;  Christie Rothschild-MJ Peterson Real Estate; Ann Dunning-Hunt Real Estate ERA; Susan Downing-RE/MAX North; Gordon Trank-Trank Real Estate and Peter P. Scarcello-Hunt Real Estate ERA. (missing from the photo were Salvatore Balesteri-Century 21 Balesteri Real Estate;  Sylvia Frost-RealtyUSA WNY, Inc. and Catherine Tobia-RealtyUSA WNY, Inc.)  Also at the event the Lifetime Service Award was given to Harry T. Purvis-Purvis & Brown, who began his real estate career in 1958.

NAR and BNAR have honored a total of one hundred Realtor® Emeriti throughout the years.  Awardees were presented with a lapel pin from the National Association of Realtors® which will be worn with pride for their dedication to the real estate profession.   “BNAR is proud to honor these individuals.  Their passion and commitment to the real estate industry for so many years makes them remarkable role models”, said John B. Leonardi, Chief Executive Officer of BNAR.
