Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS Inaugurates 2022 President

Amherst, NY – On February 2, 2022, Joel HusVar was inaugurated as the 2022 president of the Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS® (BNAR), a trade organization with more than 3,700 local members whose mission is to promote professionalism, real estate property rights and values and the voice for real estate in Western New York.
A Grand Island resident, HusVar was born and raised in the Town of Tonawanda. Real estate has been a longtime passion of the new president. He founded 716 Realty Group 2.0 several years ago and has been an active member of the BNAR, serving on numerous committees and as a board director.
 HusVar is working closely with the Evan Wood Fund. Named after the brother of former Buffalo Bills All-Pro Eric Wood, the Fund serves as a critically important resource for the patients and families at Oishei Children’s Hospital. Funds raised have an immediate, positive impact on the comfort and care of chronically ill children and their families
 In addition to HusVar’s installation, New York State Association of REALTORS President Jennifer Vucetic installed the following individuals:
Officers – Rosalind Burgin, President Elect; Vienna Laurendi, Secretary/Treasurer; Kelly Spurlock, Vice President; Amber Wesser, Past President, and Eric Winklhofer, Presidential Advisor.  
Directors named to three-year terms: Marcy Dexheimer, J. Gerard Green, Jonathan Orlow, and David VanSchoonhoven.  Named to one-year terms as Director at Large: Peter Hunt and Nan Malysza.  
Also at the event, Amy Winklhofer was named REALTOR® of the Year; Lynn Logan was named REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® of the Year. These awards are based on exemplary service, participation in the BNAR, the real estate community, the national, State Association, involvement, and service in civic, community, church and charitable projects as well as business accomplishments.
